Their beauty lies in the dunes and grasses which add to the attraction of these beaches. The North Shore beaches face Long Island Sound and have a different texture. Sammy's Beach Parking with East Hampton Town permit.
It's a wonderful place for waterskiing and boating (the boats come directly to shore), but because of the steep drop-off, it is not a great place for children to swim.
   Sammy's is a broad crescent of protected bay beach that overlooks Gardiner's Bay.
