Yes that right - this is the year that pets will get dressed up for trick or treating and the local halloween parades. We kid you not, this may be the first year that halloween pet costumes take off. Funny halloween costumes remain popular for adults. And many adults will think just about any pet costume is a funny costume idea. Best of all your pet may not care if they are the target of laughter.
According to the National Retail Federation (NRF) 2007 Halloween Consumer Intentions and Actions Survey, it is likely that you and your neighbors are likely to spend more on Halloween this year than last year. American consumers were asked about their plans to spend money on the Halloween holiday and their ideas about the most popular costumes this year. Spending on Halloween jumped up last year and it is expected to increase significantly this year.
According to the NRF survey the 2007 top ten costume ideas for adults are: (1) witch, (2) pirate, (3) vampire, (4) cat, (5) princess, (6) fairy, (7) wench, (8) clown, (9) angel, and (10) nurse.
